Our Standard Cake Bases give you another simple way to change the finished look of your modular cake.
Sitting beneath the Cake Body and lower icing, the base adds an extra visible layer around the bottom of the cake. Use it to continue an existing colour palette, pick up a colour elsewhere in your set, or introduce a contrasting accent that helps the whole setup stand out.

Magnetic alignment built in
Each Standard Cake Base contains six embedded magnets and an integrated locating ring, helping the Cake Body, lower icing and base align neatly when stacked together.
The result is an extra decorative layer that feels like part of the cake rather than something simply placed underneath it.
Coordinate it or make it stand out
Match the base to your Cake Body for a more seamless look, coordinate it with the icing or topper, or choose a contrasting colour to frame the cake from below.
