The Cake Body is the foundation of the entire Trident Labs modular cake range.

Rather than buying a completely different cake prop for every colour, theme or occasion, the Cake Body gives you one reusable starting point that can be transformed using interchangeable magnetic accessories.

Change the icing. Swap the stand. Add a topper. Raise it. Double it. Rebuild the whole look for the next shoot.

13 embedded magnets

Built into the Cake Body are 13 embedded magnets, carefully positioned to support the wider modular system.

The top features seven magnetic mounting points, giving you plenty of flexibility for toppers, icing and accessories such as the Cake Topper Riser and Cake Topper Double Mount.

The base contains a further six magnets, allowing compatible bottom icing, cake stands and storage accessories to connect underneath.

The magnetic system keeps the setup quick to change, easy to experiment with and simple to adapt between shoots.

Built to evolve with your prop collection

The biggest advantage of the Cake Body is that the finished look is never fixed.

Start with one cake and build around it using different icing styles, toppers, stands and accessories. As your collection grows, so do the number of combinations you can create.

That means you can keep refreshing your setups without needing to store a growing stack of complete cake props.

Because the Cake Body is hollow, it can also be used to store smaller compatible accessories when the cake is not in use.

Add the optional Cake Body Storage Lid and the inside becomes a convenient place to keep toppers and other smaller parts together, tidy and protected from dust between shoots.

The Cake Body is designed to work with the wider Trident Labs range, including interchangeable icing, cake stands, magnetic toppers, the Cake Topper Riser, Cake Topper Double Mount and other compatible accessories.

Our magnetic toppers can even move beyond the modular cake itself. Add a Cake Topper Stem and the same toppers can be used with real cakes too.

And the system is designed to keep growing. New accessories can be added around the same core Cake Body, giving you more ways to use the prop you already own rather than starting again each time.
